Valley Pride Dances
Hello there everyone, This is Doug, just one of the organizers of the Valley Pride Dances here in the Beautiful Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia. This first blog will be somewhat short but it's a start of many to come.
A Huge thankyou goes out to EVERYONE that have come out to Support the Valley Dances that have been on going for the past 9years. We started out in a very tiny building , which we out grew very quickly with the enthusiasum of many people from the gay/lesbian community. Moving to the New Location at the Middleton Lions Club in Nictaux on Highway #10 was a big step, not knowing if people would follow to the new location but it was amazing on how well it turned out.Since the beginning there has of course,as in most organzations a few that have dropped out but new people have started coming and starting to turn things around once more.
We have just recently celebrated our 9th Anniversary and once again wish to thank everyone for their ongoing support.We hope that you will continue to spread the word and come out on the first Saturday of each month to celebrate Pride with Us.. Pride in yourself and Pride within the community and Pride within our Province of Nova Scotia and of course Price in our Beautiful Country of Canada. !!
For all those that are Visiting our Beautiful Annapols Valley, We, Valley Pride WELCOME you to come out and Celebrate with us at the Dance and all other functions which are in the process of being organized and will be posted as soon as they are ready to go. We look forward to making New friendships from all across the country.
